I'm Going on Hiatus

I will not be writing for the blog in the foreseeable future due to health issues. I've had a recurrence of the breast cancer I had back in 2016. I need to focus on my health and coming up with posts just isn't a priority for me right now.

My son is staying with me and helping out. He's an only child and he sure wishes he had a sister right now!

The future of the blog is up to Matt. I know he would appreciate submissions if any of you have something you would like to write about. I do hope to get back to the blog eventually.

Here's a picture of my son and I at the Rolling Stones concert in Santa Clara this last July.

  1. Sincerely hope your health improves ASAP. I've been reading this blog for years and have found your posts particularly insightful and extremely well-researched. There used to be many excellent writers on here, but time and circumstances have narrowed that once-copious list down to just you. Gonna be real lean times here until you return. Thanks again for all you've contributed here (including comments).

  3. You'll be sorely missed, Deb but prioritising your health is really the only thing to do at the moment. Thanks for all the amazing posts and the hard work you've done over the years. You're a total legend (as we say in Oztralia). Good luck with it all. Get well.

  19. Thank you DebS it's been a hard year. Yesterday I had to get another biopsy because I have a new spot, so I most likely have two cancers on my breast.
