It's a shame the journalists talked over Mr Brunner when he said he had a copy of Charlie's letter. If they hadn't burbled on, I think he might well have read it out. Personally, I think Mr Brunner is a dead ringer for his mother, not his father, and presents as a likeable, reasonable person who's had to face up to a great deal. One query I have is about his accent. I know he grew up in Wisconsin but he has Canadian vowels. Yet he doesn't say 'Ay' after everything. Is this common in the northern Lake states? Thank you.
