  1. Thanks for posting that, though I don't think those guys were particularly informed on the subject. Highly recommended is Karina Longworth's 12-part podcast on TLB:

  2. Ahem ... well ... looks like about four hours of audio to wade through and I managed parts one and three with a brief spot check of part two. So this is for those who just can't muster that kind of time to read. Basically three vulgar frat boys taking notes on Charlie and TLB. Most impressive is they start with Charile's birth and go from there. One frat is the narrator, the other two 'color' commentators. Another interesting thing I caught is the narrator supports the idea Manson returned to Cielo post-butchery to wipe finger prints and place the glasses, etc. Taken as a whole I felt the narrator did pretty well covering most things Charlie from A to Z. The color commentary had some funny moments but otherwise interfered with the diction. And probably not worth spending four hours listening to. Of course all just my opinion (to protect the innocent).

And I got my D. Lake book last night. Last one available in the local book store.

  3. They seem to be under the impression that Manson in his own words was "Manson in his own words" Nuel Emmons made many assumptions and as far as I know never had any real input from Charlie of actual facts. Though they take it as a first hand account.

If he did {and he told George Stimson he did not while simultaneously admitting the glasses were his idea}, he did a grand job, didn't he {say Tex and Pat, gnashing teeth} !!
