Travel Channel's Ghost Adventures

The Travel Channel launches their new season of Ghost Adventures with a visit to Cielo Drive.  That area of Benedict Canyon is said to possess a geomagnetic anomaly conducive to the spirit world.  Yawn.  You may sense that I'm not a believer!  I'm guessing this show will either be marginally entertaining, not in the way intended to, or it will make you cringe at the lengths people will go to to make a buck.

The venerable Robin Leach contributes THIS error ridden article to the Las Vegas Sun announcing the series premier.  The show airs at 9 PM tonight, Saturday February 15th with Zak Bagans and his cohosts Nick Groff and Aaron Goodwin.

  1. Geomagnetic anomaly conducive to spirits? I can only imagine we will be seeing little handheld devices with meters and lights reacting as they walk around the canyon. Maybe we will get started by a raccoon in the bushes? I can hardly wait to watch this ;-)

  2. Wtf is all the Tate references? Is it the same house?

  3. I have the show on now and it is mainly concerned with the Oman home that is the house closest to where the Tate/Polanski residence was located, so far.

    Mrgroove nailed it, craptacular.

  4. I am sick of seeing that Oman guy on ghost shows saying that Sharon Tate and Jay Sebring haunt his house. Why the hell would they be haunting his house, and not the others? How does he think that makes their families feel? Instead of saying that their spirits are at rest, he goes on tv saying that they are haunting his ugly house, and not at rest. I think the guy does ANYTHING, and EVERYTHING to get on tv.

  5. I agree Ann, I'll watch anything Manson related but shows with Oman on them.

  6. What's worse Ann is the idiot producers of TV shows who put this sensationalist drivel on their shows and/or shows whose entire premise is based on sensationalist drivel. Anything to get those ad rates I guess?
