Donald (Shorty) Shea's burial spot next to Spahn Ranch

The below photos and video were taken by our good friend Stoner
(the name was earned with distinction, trust me) on Thursday, 12/12/13.

They path Shorty's body was dragged. If you look carefully you can see the RR tracks below.


Same path but a bit closer to the tracks below, facing NE.


Off that path is this small trail leading to the spot where he was buried.


The side of the of the hill were his remains were found by authorities in December of 1977,
as per Grogan's map.

    I wonder why Barabara Hoyt till this day, insists she heard him being killed in the creek below the ranch buildings? I have always believed her.

    Because Barbara is just FOS. I believe her version of events were nothing more than her trying to be part of the limelight. To me, like Larry the dumb rabbit, their insistent lies do nothing more than help hide the truth we all so desperately seek, and unlike the actual players in this murder who lie to save their own skin, to lie to just be part of something it's reprehensible.

    Patty believes that Barbara has come to believe that what she heard was Shorty being murdered. However, (1) everyone was on drugs, and that makes sounds distort into things they are not. (2) These people were into "coming to now," which sometimes involved scaring the shit out of each other and causing each other to scream like maniacs. (3) It was pitch black out, so Babs' brain would naturally have had to fill in some details for her to come to the conclusion that she did. It never rang true.

    I think the above comments by Patty and nonbeliever combined best describe why people don't like her.

    I don't feel one way or the other about her and think she would still be interesting to talk to.

    I thought her letter to the parole board was very well written and made a lot of great points. I also think she has no business writing to the parole board on anyone's behalf.

    So...a horse a piece.

    I hate Hoyt because she is a liar and wont take a step back and say, "wow, maybe I was mistaken!" Instead she calls other people liars.

    She's just as bad as the people who got on the stand and lied for M.

    Hi SVH. Thanks for the clip. I've read lots of Manson literature, but this is the first I've heard of the "Manson Tree" or that Shorty was shoved into that long crevice under the bridge. What are your sources for this info? Not challenging you here. Just curious.

    manson himself told us about the tree..he wrote michael channels a letter witch explained where the tree is and what he use to do there..manson use to play music in the tree...and as far as the shorty story.manson told mike the same thing ... mike use to vist bruce davis as well and bruce even told him the same story...
