If remains were dug up at Barker and determined to be from the late 60s would there be enough evidence to tie it in with any particular individual or even cause of death?
I suspect even getting an ID on the remains would be tricky. Do we know who the missing German tourists were?
I imagine law enforcement would question ex-family members but could they use a lie detector test? Don't think anyone would just start volunteering info.
Remains of at least two of the four lost German Tourists from the 1990's were identified a few years back. There are rumors of five Manson era bodies at Barker and the hopes are that something about them will still be identifiable: clothing? posessions? residual DNA? Some say that the bodies scented by Buster are long dead native tribespeople and that they should remain undisturbed. No one is positive. Patty just wishes that someone would take this more seriously and throw some cash at it. Patty would, but she is no one-percenter. She is however a clinical lab student and would love to work as a research assistant (paid or unpaid) if someone were to put a grant together.
Shameless or not, would anyone besides Katie go and brag about it? Who wants to go to jail if they don't have to? With all the secrets that we KNOW these people kept and are still keeping, doesn't it stand to reason that there may be more secrets?
And, what the hell's on them tapes? RFoster's offer of $2000 still stands, last time Patty heard. :)
