Time and chance play a greater part in our fate than does virtue.
Patricia Krenwinkel, no home town hero, has served 43 years in a California State prison for a secondary role in murders that took place in Beverly Hills and Los Feliz back in August of 1969.
William Calley served 3 1/2 years of house arrest for being the commanding officer of the slaughter of as many as 500 Viet Nam villagers in My Lai, many of whom were women and children.
So my question is who decides who are the heros? And who decides the value of a life?
It seems pretty obvious that Americans feel their lives are of more value than others.
Verry true what ya say here Tom, and I think there are many more excamples , .....World-Wide and not only USA , so not only Americans feel their lives are of more Value than others.
