43 Years Ago This Week

We at Eviliz are extending to our members the chance to write something in your own words to commemorate the fast approaching anniversary of the crimes.
It can be anything you like within reason.  Maybe write in your own words what you think lead up to the crimes, or who went back to Cielo after the damage was done.  A small fiction story through one of  the killer's eyes.  Or a tribute to a certain victim.  I am just tossing out ideas, feel free to use your own creativity.  And let us not forget Donald Shea, Gary Hinman and John "Zero" Haught.
I plan on posting them depending on how may I receive starting tomorrow August 6th.  Short notice I know, my bad.  I will post all that I receive and no one will be turned away within reason.  Please nothing graphic. Don't forget to add the name you would like to be credited as or you can remain anonymous.

Send them only to Eviliz at- 1967mansonfamily@gmail.com

  1. Speaking of anniversaries, I just ran across this. It was on August 8, 1973 when Elmer Wayne Henley fired six shots into Dean Corll ending a long string of murders.

I was only 1 at the time of the crime but read the book The Man With the Candy on this subject. Your comment sparked my interest & I was surprised to find a site that had Elmer's art work. The crime is a strange story & sounds like fiction but it's true.

  3. I saw something about him selling his art work too.
With so many crimes and only 365 days in a year I guess many of them share anniversaries.

  4. That's one crime spree that literally sickens me. Really...

  5. Dean Corll was a real sicko, if you read the books he was doing some demented things to those kids before he killed them. My heart breaks to think about anyone being tortured like that. Soon everyday will be a anniversary of some sicko killer.

  6. @Jesse2112--I agree. I think 2 of the victims were brothers. I couldn't imagine losing 1 son this way, let alone 2.

  11. Your right F, 2 were brothers, he tortured and killed one and then got the other a month or so later.
Can you imagine the sickness and audacity to do that? Also with Wayne Hemley and David Brooks, they chose their best friends as victims for Dean. Im not sure who is worse Dean for the sick things he did to those boys or Wayne and David for offering up their friends for Dean's sick pleasures.

  12. @Jesse I agree that Wayne & David were sick but I do think in some way they were victims too.
