I always wonder if these people know that their photos are on these blogs. At any rate, the blue hair color actually does her justice. Her regular color made her look washed out. Now all she needs is some eyebrows, and the look will be completed. Smurf blue......
AustinAnn, I beleive they only have 2 mentalities, 1-the true beleivers, even 40+ years later would not be able to let it go and would be up to date on all TLB websites. 2- they are so disgusted in what they took part of, they run from anything related to Manson and company

Should I call you William, Bill or Billy? Haha, that reminds me of a verse of Cheryl Crowe's "All I Wanna Do IS Have Some Fun".
I have 45 Minds drafted and ready to post it early next week. Once in a great while Matt, Patty and I take turns posting our own stuff for a few days. Matt's turn started yesterday and ends early next week. If Patty or I post at the wrong time Matt beats us black and almost blue. ;)
I tripping off the lizards on her t-shirt, that's a message right there :) - she looks like a 16 year old girl giggling away and why should that be wrong for a woman her age its beautiful. Glad to see her so happy x
Eviliz Bill is what I go by appreciate the reply didn't mean to be a.pain in the ass and loved ystrdys post on the letters + fyfs reply and comments when so funny. appreciate your still going to discuss my suggested topic. Hello to.Miss Patty and Matt. Patty.you.had me Google the Brotherhood found a awesome post on Google I plan on adding the book you discussed on the subject Hello to Andy and Matt. Peace out Bill
She's laughing which I think makes her face look more like we are used to seeing it in the trial photos. It also brings out the scar on her forehead. Good find, racestarr!
It's difficult to believe this is the same Cappy who's appearance drew so many negative comments when her first recent photos turned up. What a difference a little hair dye and a smile make.
A couple of bits of old business here. First about Dean Moorehouse living at Cielo, I seen an old newspaper clipping of Terry Melcher's testimony. Apparently, he moved out of the house in Jan. 1969. (Candace Bergen said they fled). I don't know the exact date Sharon Tate moved in, but I'm guessing Moorehouse might have moved in until the rent needed paying.
Second, for FarFlung,
It seems to me you mentioned a movie called "Satan's Sadists" 1969 a while back. I found a very interesting news article about that film. Apparently, it was filmed in 8 days at Spahn ranch about 2 months before the murders, right in the middle of the Manson family. It said when one of the film companies dune buggies broke down, Manson repaired it. The producer of the film Al Adamson said "Watson began bothering some of the female members of our cast so we had to kick him off the set, guns and all".
I just spent about 1 hour trying to find some obscure way to watch the film online involving torrents, codec's, plugin's etc. It's posted on YouTube. I haven't watched it yet, it probably has violence and nudity if anyone wants to watch, Satans Sadists
I just finished watching Satan's Sadists, I think "crapfest" would be an understatement.
About the only thing I noticed was what looked like a 1959 Ford Fairlane 4 door, I doubt if it was the "murdermobile" though.
One of the stars of the film, Regina Carrol said in the news article:
"When I'd get on the set the crew would have coffee and doughnuts waiting for me. I'd be standing around discussing the days shooting when almost as if an alarm sounded. These sloppy looking weirdos would come crawling out of barns and popping up out of mattresses like spiders. They'd inch their way slowly over to the table where we had the food."
regina carrol was the actress who people at spahn assumed was sharon tate visiting manson and the family. of course she wasn't but during the investigation and at the trial some of ranch hands came forward and said she was tate. they looked that simular. that's how all the rumors started that tate had spent time at spahn ranch. al addamson also ended life as a murder victim---i believe his boyfriend stabbed him to death, a very bloody and gore filled murder.
some of ranch hands came forward and said she was tate. they looked that simular.
After watching the movie, I guess I know which one Regina Carrol was, the one that looked like Sharon Tate.
I have to say they looked similar, but not that similar. I guess to the drugged up people at Spahn they could have been twins.
That news article mentioned the links and connections between that movie and the Manson's. The first was the theme song, it was about a "loose woman that gave herself to everyone" or something like that. That was interpreted to be Manson's mother.
At the end of the film a guy commits suicide playing Russian roulette, they mention "Christopher Jesus", they said he was a biker, they mentioned his gang but I can't remember the name. He was known as "Zero" to the Manson family.
The news article is on Helter Skelter Forum, I think you have to be a member to read stuff there, that's why I didn't post a link.
Sunset, this sounds like the same article you are talking about. And if you read Danny DeCarlo's grand jury testimony, the first thing Bugliosi addresses when he takes over questioning, are comments made to the press by ranch foreman Mike Armstrong about Sharon Tate at Spahn Ranch.
Thanks for the tip on ‘Satan’s Sadists’ sunset77, it had something for everyone. Motorcycles, john-diving and deep cleavage makes for a classic exploitation flick. But I think I was the one cruelly exploited because I was watching for anything resembling Spahn’s Ranch and didn’t see a single frame that looked like it had potential.
Was Al Adamson just engaging in some far reaching marketing for his hippie filled slasher film? It looked more like the environs around I-10 rather than Chatsworth. So between admiring Tracy’s go-go boots and Gina’s dancing, I picked up a location clue at (19:22 – 19:24). It pans across the top of the frame but you can see ‘Chiriaco Summit’ painted on a roof. Here’s a little more info:
As you can see, it still has a Chevron station and the Chiriaco Summit Café is in operation. But please make your vacation plans accordingly, as the café is closed Christmas Eve and Day.
So it looks like latching onto the Manson mystique began very early on and has some impressive stamina.
Amazed at the things you find really enjoyed

ReplyDeleteFunny that in this photo with blue colored hair (to me) she looks the most like the Cappy from 43 years ago.
ReplyDeleteBut did she dye all her hair blue? The woman has a great smile, gotta give her that.

ReplyDeleteIs it just Patty's imagination or can you kinda see the "X" on her forehead in this pic?
ReplyDeletePatty I see the X too. Could be wrinkles making it more noticeable.
ReplyDeleteive allways been a sucker for a gal with blue hair
ReplyDelete"Her eyes are the deepest blue, she likes her hair that color too, shes mommys little monster"
The blue/black hair makes her look like something witchy, to me.

Liz, I think the blue hair treatment might suit you, too. Go for it!
ReplyDeleteSatan's Sadists! Patty will have to check that out. Anybody care to review it?

ReplyDeleteWho was blue anyway? Sandy Good?
Tom,
ReplyDeleteYou are correct, Sandy was Blue.

ReplyDeleteI read somewhere, possibly Sanders book, about a starlet who came out to the ranch in a Rolls Royce. Did Regina Sanders have access to a Rolls Royce?

the leader of the mc gang was also the leader of the jets in west side story
ReplyDeleteCappy was so pretty as a blonde. Why does she not have eyebrows any longer? That just bugs me. She had beautiful eyes.
