DAY 4
El Coyote
Today was a travel & rest day.
We drove from Ridgecrest to LA, then mostly chilled out
before having the obligatory dinner at El Coyote.
Eviliz and Panamint Patty had "a few" cocktails...
We were joined by several Eviliz readers.

Matt, myself, Summer & Mr. Patty thought it would be a good idea after we had margaritas to do some shots! Not the best idea I ever had, but fun!
Just now noticing that Liz and Patty stepped out to have a ciggie right under the "no smoking" sign! LOL.
Its true what they say about El Coyote: the drinks are cheap and strong. The food however, was lackluster. Mr. Patty had the best entree, it was a carne asada plate that was the house specialty. Patty's enchiladas suizas did not resemble anything she's eaten before when ordering same. Liz' "salad" had more lard in it than lettuce.
Still, it was Patty's favorite night of the trip so far.

The Saint and I are going to have to disagree about something soon just caus I am from Boston and he is from Joisey. but I am with him on this one too.
This trip was pure genius. And as jealous as all of us are that we aren't there, you guys did this right. Better to have the first tour just a small one. But next time please rent the Merry Pranksters bus and take us all. And ya gotta really lobby for a "special guest appearance/tourguide". I mean the Sgt was cool, but wouldn't it be a trip to do Barker and Myers with Cappy or such. I bet if Paul Watkins was still alive he would volunteer. Just no Red or Blue. And if you get Gypsy the Col won't come. Can you imagine being on a Manson tour bus with the Col and JimNy and Dickhead and others. Now that would be a combustible ride.

Liz's eyes are red in this photo, but they don't seem to be spinning. Matt. I know there is protocal, but can you tell us if Liz looked into the pool at Myers if there was a reflection?

Sorry Leary, I can't answer that. Myers is private property with no trespassing signs with pictures of .38 revolvers on them.
So, we used a 400 ft. boom with my iPhone on the end to take the photos, thus avoiding any issues as far as trespassing on private property :)

Don't be fooled by the pictures folks. They look like nice people but there is something inherently nefarious about them. I mean, I only spent about three hours with them and I walked away more intoxicated than I have been in many many years. I can't figure it out.

The Bad News Bears was filmed in and around Los Angeles, primarily in the San Fernando Valley. The field where they played is in Mason Park on Mason Avenue in Chatsworth, California.
Has anyone noticed Eviliz has been quietly commentless? I don't think anyone noticed. Anywho....... Eviliz is exhaused and amazed at her wonderful trippy trip. And for once in my life I am silent. LOL Well on here anyway. I know Rocky gave me something to scream about behind Bobby's truck.

Liz's eyes were red thanks to the the state of Cali's medical marijuana. One of the few things I opted out of hiking to was Myers.
But I think there would of been a reflection in the water. Mirrors, no.

I remember seeing those on the front seat and tossing them into the back. I thought they had something to do with the chihuahuas since they were so small. My bad.

Jiri, you weren't in the women's bathroom with us or you would have heard him too, and yes, after 3 hours I was pretty intoxicated too, but even then the food was still icky.
