I know some people hate it when those of us at Eviliz comment on the appearance of former Manson Family members... but I am compelled to observe that she looks pretty good here.
bright orange thing looks like a sippy cup for the baby being held to Cappy's left. she does seem like such a happy person, which of course is at odds with her supposed comments about wishing she had been chosen to go along on the murder nights. Hard to figure.
I've said this before and it is a hard analogy to sell, but Cappy reminds me so much of the stories of white children taken by Apaches or Comanches in Texas in the late 1800's who, even when ransomed back into white society remained fiercely loyal to their captors and the Indian lifestyle. The hard to understand dynamic was that most of the children taken were from German-American families in which hard work and minimal emotional expression was the norm. Children were treated almost as serfs. The Native American lifestyle was radically different. Children were loved and revered and encouraged to play and ride free across the plains. The testimony of the returned captives was almost unanimous in how much they enjoyed living with their captors. Of course Cappy wasn't a 'captor'. But her alligence to the Family and its lifestyle is eerily similar to that of the returned Indian captives.

Comment away bad or good. That's what makes us different here!! Matt said... Wishing she had been chosen to go along on the murder nights - and sippy cups.
This whole thing is like one long Tarantino film.
No Matt your wrong- it's not a sippy cup- it's a "SLIPPY cup!" bahahaha
I think she looks a little manic in this pic. I would really love to run into a "family" member sometime, somewhere. I would definitely approach them and see what transpires.
Matt said,I hear through reliable sources that she is very sweet and won't say an unkind word about anyone. I guess not being picked to commit murder agreed with her finaly. I am still suspect about anyone in this day and age, who wishes they could have been part of those murders.
