Three Men Sought in SE Bend Motel Holdup
Called 'Armed and Dangerous'; Two Victims Had Minor Injuries
From KTVZ.COM News Sources
BEND, Ore. -- Bend police are looking for three men deemed “armed and dangerous” after a holdup early Tuesday at a SE Third Street motel that left two of the three victims with minor injuries.
Sgt. Devin Lewis said the men, later identified as Keith August Wayne Jones, 25; Eric Ian Monfort, 33; and a third, unidentified man aged 20 to 30 forced entry around 12:15 a.m. to Room 21 at the Holiday Motel, 880 SE Third St., and robbed the victims at gun and knifepoint.
There were two men and a woman, all in their 20s, there at the time. The two male victims received minor injuries but the female was unhurt, Lewis said, adding that the suspects were known by two of the victims.
Jones was described as 5-foot-6, with a skinny build, brown hair and brown eyes. Monfort is about 6 feet, with a medium build, blonde hair and blue eyes. The third suspect is a white male adult, 20 to 30 years old, about 6 feet tall, with a heavy build, brown hair, brown eyes and a goatee, Lewis said.
All three suspects are still at large and are believed to be armed and dangerous, Lewis said. Anyone who sees the men are warned not to approach them but instead to call 911.
The men face likely charges of first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, second-degree assault, second-degree theft and unlawful use of a weapon.

shocking, isn't it?
Looks like active prison time on this go around. I don't think he has even had time to go to court on the Ross Dress For Less caper yet, has he?
What's the difference between those charges and "armed robbery"? Or is that just police-speak for the same thing. Any lawyers here who can set me straight?
I'm no lawyer but here are my guesses
first-degree robbery (what they'd broken in to steal), first-degree burglary (the actual break-in with the intent to steal), second-degree assault (harmed someone who was in the room in order to get what they intended to steal), second-degree theft (stole property they hadn't intended to but saw the opportunity) and unlawful use of a weapon.
Sounds like they really want them away from society for a while.
also, I have a feeling drugs may be involved here. just a hunch
ps. sorry for being long-winded today.
Drugs??? Do ya think??? LOL...
The third suspect fits the description of Orrin Monfort.
Nancy must be so proud....the acorn doesn't fall far from the tree
Ok, here's what I understand about robbery, burglary, and larceny:
ROBBERY happens when you steal from a person or people by threatening them and saying give me your money or I'll shoot, etc.
BURGLARY happens when the thief breaks into the home or building to steal (people not inside).
LARCENY is when you steal from someone by writing a bad check or embezzle from them, to permanently acquire something that is theirs, not yours.
All three fall under the title of THEFT.
If I am wrong about this, I stand corrected.
@matt , why do people get neck/face tattoos and then wonder how they were identified? meth must be a hell of a drug.
Well, it says "the suspects were known by two of the victims". My gut tells me it was a deal gone bad. Luckily nobody was killed, so maybe being a guest of the governor will give him a chance to clean-up.
whose Brenda's kid, neck tattoo boy or kid on the left ???
Eric is the one with the tattoo's. He is is 33 years old.
BIng no matter what Nancy is feeling, once your 18 your an adult you make yur own choices what you do after that imo
Some people just seem to want to spend the rest of their lives in prison. I guess with some folks, it's a family tradtition.
Charlie was wrong when he said "These children that come at you with knives, they are your children. You taught them...."
It's THEIR children that are coming at us with knives. They taught them. LOL
I see that someone recently found a human head in the Hollywood Hills. I wonder if they'll try to blame this one on Charlie.
I will stand by Nancy and her kids which I have said many times before
Seems to me...every "kid" who has a neck tattoo(s), is a dangerous asshole.
Yeah, neck tattoo does kind of say "I've given up on the straight life, and expect to be in and out of jail forever" so avoid has to be best practice. But really, what a move for a criminal. Hello, line-up? Jesus, these people are dumb maximum.
It's really hard to impress mommy with these petty crimes. Hard to complete with murder and abduction of your victim's child.
A male criminal who reproduces with a female criminal does not produce offspring who plays lacrosse at Ivy League colleges.
Future generations will realize this and mandatory DNA tests will become law. If you don't have healthy genes to pass, you don't breed.
Or you can build more prisons, mental institutions and drug halfway houses.

I cant follow the ,,Murder and abduction of victims child,, part. Can you make that clear to me ??
Thankzz

What the fuck do you know about anything?...Judge these people because they're fucking morons. Not because they have ink on their fucking necks. I have a lot of tattoos, and I'm proud of them. It doesn't make me dangerous, or a jail bird or anything negative. I happen to like tattoos, so don't be so fucking quick to judge people
Bing I agree that tattoo statement is idiotic Ive seen women with flowers tattooed on their necks is this mean they are armed robbers?
@bing if anything I said offended you; that was not my intent. I was just trying to point out that it's silly for a "career criminal" to walk around with such a giant sign that could solve any Where's Waldo.
let's not be naive - a person who puts an X on their forehead is making a statement. And when they turn the X into a swastika they most definately are making a further statement.
The question is, and I don't think it is an ignorant or excessively judgemental one, is an "inked neck" just an artistic expression or is it a social statement of some sort. Does it have an inevitable effect, saying to most people "fuck you, I want no part of you or your world".
Signs and symbols do have meanings, wether intentional or not.
Tattoos are a great form of expression, but a rose on the ankle does not say the same thing as an inked neck to most people - perception being reality as they say.
I agree with most of the points being made.
It's not correct to think that anyone who inks their neck is a career criminal, or every young lady with ink is a tramp (ok, most.. LOL).
It's also fair to say that AB tats that extend above the collarbone isn't a good idea foe a career criminal who wants to stay under the radar.
I woke up with a tatoo of Katie after Liz's last party. It wasn't on my neck:-)

Yeah, that's where it was.
@ Bing, right on !
Did anyone else see this last Monday night???
I swear I have NEVER EVER watched The Bachelor but I was flipping channels and settled on ABC to catch Castle and saw the last few minutes of The Bachelor. I was stunned by the repulsive stupidity as this woman and the guy were having a conversation and the woman says, 'I have one last confession to make, I have a tattoo but you have to guess where it is."
Well, the moron guy gave up and this idiot woman pulls down her lower lip to show the flesh inside the mouth below the lip and there it is - a tattoo.
Of course it is a tattoo no one can see, and to top it off because of the acid in the mouth it has to be 're-tattooed' every six weeks or so.
Now I am all for individual and artistic expression, but how is that not moronic. I know I have become a grumpy old man, but tell me the world isn't getting dumber everyday.
I think they tattoo race horses inside the lip but, haven't heard that it has to be redone.
One down:

I dated a girl in college who had the inside of her lip tattooed. she didn't have to have it redone every six weeks. She was a bit of a freak....But, man could she romp.
The crazy ones always can...
