I'm pretty sure my parents had the same type of clock radio when I was a kid. I remember how the numbers would flip...always fascinated me.

Is that the actual clock Steve Parent tried to sell just before he died?
We had one like that too. you could hear the numbers turn.
I seem to remember that type of clock having some advantages over the digital displays of today but, can't remember what they were. Maybe they were easier to set.
Anybody know what happened to the original clock that S. Parent tried to sell to W. Garretson?
Ok, I got it, that´s not the actual one...
According to a close friend of Parent, the clock was never for sale; it was a birthday gift for his kid sister (and a pretty pricey one at that!).
