It becomes apparent to everyone around them that he is better for her- but she stays with him. HUH? lol
How many guys secretly thought to themselves, while watching there more attractive friends get the girl," He is no good for her. He doesn't really love her. I would do anything for her if she were mine"...
Well Jay got the chance to back it up, and he gave more than he should have had to...
I have read he dealt drugs, and was into some weird stuff.
But I will respect him always, for what he said, and what he felt, and how far he was willing to go in honor of it...
She and Roman may have laughed at him, and his insecurities- but he looked out for her, and tried to take care of her even when she chose another. He was the truest of friends to her, and if he what he did on 8/9/69 isnt the greatest example of "Man up"- I don't know what you need in a man...
Instead she chose a cheater, and child molester- selfish, and self absorbed..
Sharon was a beautiful young women with the world in front of her. But she was attracted to a dark, older man. Someone who would give drugs to and have sex with underage women . Somoene who would run when things got heavy. A person who, by associating with him, might very well have cost her the rest of her life...
St. C, I didnt understand your point. How does allowing the woman you truly love, to be marched out to her death by a scrawney smelly hippie girl with a knife? Think about that one, would you have went out that way? I mean I understand once in the living room with Meth Tex holding a gun you are pretty much screwed, but some little dirty girl walks in my bedroom with a knife, she is going to get the sh*t beat out of her, So can you please explain how he "manned up" besides saying "hey be carefull, she is pregnant" this isnt a slight to you, I just want to understand your point, thanks St. C, I enjoy your posts.
